I can’t believe Hollywood let a movie out referring to injuns as Hostiles.

Looks good, but I have been fooled by these decent looking westerns before

If any of you liked “Fury,” this one reminded me of it also.

The only knock is there is one scene where their revolvers don’t run dry.

Just walked out.

I’ve been looking forward to this movie for 6 months.

It freaking sucked.

No flow to the movie at all and choppy. I even convinced my dad to go see it because he loves westerns and he said it sucked also.

They had the plot and scenes to make it work but they freaking butchered it.

So mad....

The people around us werenít fans either.

It just drove me insane how it did not have any fluidity. Like a 4th grader who canít write a sentence longer then 5 words was in charge of the flow of the movie.

Also some of the crying. Scenes and other dramatic scenes seemed just plain awkward

I went today, it was ok, not that great. It was definately better than any of the crappy previews we had to sit through before it started.
It was way to slow, could have been 1 hr and 45 min easy. Doesn’t compare to being close to Dances With Wolves in my opinion.

I like Christian Bale as an actor but despise his politics! Ok, that's out of the way...in our Golden Years Momma and I wait until these movies get released on Amazon, spend $5 for the rental and enjoy! Our recliners are much more comfortable plus my wife makes a great meal MUCH cheaper than what we have to pay at the theater. Plus, our big screen and sound system does not miss much of what the theater has to offer.

Ole' Fart that LOVE'S Westerns.....can't wait for the $5 rental, lol!!

Yes. !!!!!Small Spoiler!!!!! Donít read if you havenít seen the movie

Another reason I was excited because a huge fan of his and was looking forward to his part that he talked about in a interview and hear the song.

Said one sentence outside of the song, and his singing seemed meaningless and forced into that part of the movie. They couldíve had it cover over a couple mins of the movie as they were traveling or something instead of him just singing 3 sentences by a fire and it abruptly ending. His death was also the most irrelevant death ever portrayed in a movie in my opinion.

God Iím so bitter lol

You need a beer

Is it possible you built the whole movie up, and that’s why it was a let down? Sometimes movies are best enjoyed when you go in blind.

Went to see it first night it was available. Is my take crazy?

My conclusion was they took a promising story and turned it into another politicized Hollywood social statement. White men portrayed as ridiculous heartless haters of victimized Indians made hostile by unjust white men.

The old white ranch owner and his sons attacking the protagonist, the widow, and the family of the dead Indian chief at the end was so ridiculous and unlikely it gave their entire agenda away.

More of the same Hollywood narrative of portrayals of unjust white "supremacy".
