Default Lease looking liberty county

Just like everyone else I'm looking for a 2018 lease. This weekend while I was fishing a tournament my 8 year old daughter went out with her grandfather and caught the hunting bug. When I got home it was all she talked about. Now I'm in the lease hunting crowd. Would love something close to Dayton Texas but have a camp on toledo bend and can stay there. Please keep me in mind if anything comes up. She really has the hunting fever.

I don't know if Arizona Creek is still operating or not. If they are that may be an option for you. Its been a long time since I was on there so I don't have any contact information. Someone on here may know.

Only thing I can tell you about that place is run the other way. Too many good ones out there to put up with that bunch if it still exists.

No toe stepping... We are all in the same boat. What might fit one might not fit another. Good luck to all. Order my daughter's first deer rifle today. She is jacked!

Arizona Creek is still operating. Iíve been on the lease since literally before I was born, lol. 30+ years. Itís a good place for a family to hunt. Pretty cheap for an all year lease, and itís pretty close to home. We own some land in the middle of it, so we havenít had to deal with the campsites very much. Youíre probably not gonna see any monsters, but I normally at least shoot a doe to put some meat in the freezer. There are tons of pigs too. Itís heavily hunted (a stand about every 300 yards) but it seems to be thinning out the last few years. The paper companies do clear out sections here and there, so one year you may be in thick woods and the next in an open field. But the next year the brush grows back. It is definitely run by a bunch of ďgood olí boysĒ, but we stick to ourselves and follow the rules and we never have any issues.

Pine ridge hunting club is right up the road off of 787 and 146. I was on it for 7yrs. They always have a few openings. Richard Lucas from Crosby runs the place. I don't have his number anymore.

Y'all should check with castandblast and saltwaterslick. They are on a bow only lease in Liberty county. The lease manager texted me recently asking if I was interested in getting back on. They may have some openings.

A bit of an update. I put in a bid for some crown pine timber company last week. Getting them people on the phone is like pulling teeth. But I still put in the bid. Went and looked over the property and it looks ok but real wet. Also got stopped by methhead Mary while looking at the property which was also a concern. But still put in the bid. I don't know anything as of yet if I got the property. Keep me in mind if any liberty leases come up. Methhead Mary does not concern me it's her relatives crackhead Craig that does. Lol

I was on a lease for one year out be the Cleveland Airport, there's always some openings. Lots of hogs, fair number of deer. Lease manager was Randy Ward 832-620-5542.

Just wanted to say thank you for all the responds and tips for a deer lease. I was put in contact with a guy who runs a lease last week. We met up today and he showed me a few places. I can now say I'm no longer leaseless! Thank you again for all the support. My daughter was beside herself looking at all the different animal tracks. If she pulls the trigger or not this has all been a success. Thanks again.
