First job was to remove cabinets, shelves and a room. Once all ripped out the opened it up to an open 15' x 30'. Then I knocked a whole in crack to give a door to back porch of shop. Built a wall on bathroom and tiled up a shower.

Wasn't sure how I what I was found to do with garage door. My wife wanted to keep the 3 door look from highway so I tried dressing it up with cedar plywood. It helped but didn't want the hardwear over head. So, I framed a wall over it.

For the past year I have been working on this room as well as remodeling entire house. We completely gutted house and moved into loft of shop and began rebuilding. There have been several times I was warned by wifey if my man cave was finished before her house I'd be gator bait!

Love the cedar ceiling! That looks fantastic! I'm in for the progression of your trophy room/man cave.

I'm expecting to have time the next few days to get some paint on the walls and hopefully rip some cedar trim.

Is that real brick or a veneer at the stove? Need something for my place like that. Anymore info on the hearth construction, etc.

The base under stove is brick and the wall is pavers... Does not match perfectly but good enough for me.

House project is very close.. The remaining work is stuff I'm hiring out. Shower and additional lighting is all that's left. Good news is we are on the waiting list so timeline is out of my hands.
