Love it! Congrats. I smiled when you said you are already booked for next year. It gets in your blood. The desert outside of Hermosillo is one of my favorite places on earth!

As you should be. I hope your hunt lives up to your expectations. It is a very special place. I have no idea why I like it down there so much.......but I can't get enough. If I could, I would spend a lot more time down there. I have been twice and hoping to return in November of 2019.

No. He was mid-70's. The other two hunters in camp killed mid 180 deer. Luck of the draw I guess...

Were you guys strictly high rack hunting? Do they hunt orange peel piles? Spot and Stalk? Curious to see how other operations down there do it. Do they feed protein?

All high rack unless you see one and have to go after him. They are 1 year into feeding oranges and some corn/protein mix. 13 Lamco feeders on 80,000 acres. Activity in the feeders was fair but not consistent from what I could see. No deer were killed over or near feeders. Both of my deer were killed in the middle of the day sleeping under trees. One was asleep at the shot and the other was just standing up.

We did some glassing from atop mesas, so we got out of the rack some days. 10 hours a day in a high rack can be a pita. Especially around day 7.
