Did you ever get a good recommendation for a floor sealer?

I would put 2x6 down on floor of cooler and insulate with foam, cover with solid decking then frb, you will get lots of moisture from slab into cooler and it will clean up easier. To seal slab you need a 2 part epoxy, but it will be slippery when wet.

Free piece of advice if you use extreme cold temperatures your slab you need to have a below grade warming system to keep the ground from collapsing. If you not going 20-25 degrees you should be ok.

Final update. Have a few more shelves to hang but about done. Have processed 2 domestic pigs and 3 calves that weighed 850 to 1200. So far the coolbot has performed flawlessly. It is set at 38 and cycles 34 to 38. Here are a few pics.

What did you end up finishing the floor with? Plain concrete, epoxy or wood?

I used a two part epoxy paint recommended by my local paint store. I tested for moisture in concrete by taping a piece of thick plastic on the floor. That looked good so I put three coats. I have run the cooler off and on since with no peeling. Kill count. 5 steers 4 pigs, 5 deer, 6 wild hogs. Probably going to hang some more wild hogs this week. Haha

That is awesome brother! You did a fantastic job putting this together. I dig the rail system, makes easy work of the heavier animals.
