Default Spalted Sycamore Knife

Took a break from forging yesterday and came up with this. High Carbon blued on Stabilized Sycamore with Green Liners. OAL is 8 3/4 cutting edge is 3 1/2. I love the way the handle fits in my hand. I'll keep on making more with handles like this.

That's a great looking knife, would be outstanding with a Damascus blade.

No brother; it's hollow ground. I would do a scandi grind on a puukka knife, but not a hunter, I prefer a hollow grind. It has less restriction or drag on the blade in my opinion. Probably 90% of my knives are hollow ground. Each grind has it's own specific benefits and draw backs.
