We use to use a post digger dig a hole 2-3 deep about a half gallon of diesel fuel we would have pigs for months.

I saw this at a friends ranch and thought it was interesting.

They run three traps on 640 acres and catch over 100 pigs a year. Ranch is loaded with deer too.

They use straight corn for bait in typical 4’x4’x8’ long hog traps with spring doors.

They string a piece of barbed wire across the door opening about 18 inches off the ground and say that since they started doing that they never catch deer in the hog traps anymore.

Every time they kill a deer on my buddy's ranch they pour the gut bucket in the trap. They catch a lot of hogs on gut piles!

5 gallon bucket full of corn, poor a couple of cheep bets over it. Put lid on and set in the sun for a few days. It will sour and stink pigs will love it deer will leave it alone.
