You can find then in the marshes along the freshwater ponds and lakes near the coast. Cinnamon look a lot like blue wing early in the season so it can be VERY hard to tell until they reach full plumage

Nice bird. Definitely not super common. I've shot 2 pure cinnamons and 1 cinnamon/blue wing cross in 30 seasons of chasing ducks.Comment
