Old Sabine is a magical place. When you first see it you will fall in love....it will quickly turn to either hate or determination to beat it. It’s bar none the hardest hunting in Texas. For deer anyway. Hogs are thick as fleas at times. I’ve seen it go a whole season closed to flood and also seen switch cane so thick you can’t walk. It’s a challenge to say the least but it’s hunting. If managed and taken care of could be a gem... but it ain’t
