Vented or solid and why?

I ask because I normally see the vented, but mine tend to make more noise than I prefer... assuming the solid BH’s are quieter due to design.

the solid are quieter.. I still shoot the vented.Its easier to switch between them and the rage trypan if i shoot 100 grain.. .

If I wanted to shoot a 125grain head I would shoot the solids..
