No daylight pics--he's a night owl right now. Of course, the feeder goes off at 7 PM so maybe that's why--it's my hog spot.

I would have guessed 3.5 too, but the consensus seems to be 4.5. I've never heard about bucks losing a lot of weight during rut, but that might explain some of the game cam pics I got this year: identical looking racks on what I thought were two bucks because the neck was much thinner in late December. Have to do some more reading on this...

This. Easily. If they look 3 now add a year. Usually by December you can start adding a year to what they look like. Mid January for sure. I'd bet big money he is 4, too much bone on his head and body structure is too big. Should be a hammer next year at 5
