    No. If you anchor with your fingers in the same place on your face, then it will raise the point on distance, because you have effectively lowered the distance of the arrow from your eye by the width of one finger.

    I anchor with my index finger when shooting both 3 under & split finger.
    My point on shooting split finger is longer by more than double that of 3 under, BUT if I anchor with my middle finger when shooting split, it raises the arrow (by the width of one finger) back to almost the exact same place under my eye as when shooting 3 under with the index, and the point ons are much closer to the same.

        Thanks for all the input. I think I'm going to try split on the self bow and see how it goes.

          I'm gonna try split with two over for longer, over 25 yards, distance and see if that works.
