There must be a lot of cover if fairly close proximity to that picture, 'cause I can't see anywhere in the picture that all those deer would be able to hide except maybe in the pond. Amazing number and quality of deer for sure.

They have some awesome timber on their farm as well as corn, beans, alfalfa, and clover all strategically planted.

After you hunt Iowa you will never look at small piece of timber the same again.

The other farm must be HUGE....
That many big bucks just won't reside amongst that many other big bucks on small places.. They will kill each other first..

He may have access to some adjoining property. I have never asked him where all he hunts sheds. I just know their farm and the farm he helps manage. Most all the farms in their area are fairly small tracts unless its big tracts of tillable ground.

its amazing what a small piece of property up there can produce. When it comes to farming and deer hunting, it takes 10x the size of place down here to produce the same results of a place up there
