Got to go on a hunt in Hico, tx and my new APR 257 wby mag got to eat! Not my biggest but still happy with him. Didn't see much all weekend but what we did see they were chasing does hard. This guy came in and out chasing big time and he finally stop at 170 yards and he was dead before he hit the ground. My guide told me to shoot the doe and she was at about 220 yards and she also went straight down. It was a great hunt with great guide and good people. Also the 257 did major damage, it will now be my go to gun!
