Has anyone ever hunted in Miami, Oklahoma or Ottawa County? Have access to some land up there but its a 5.5 hour drive. Just want to know if its really worth looking into and what kind of deer they have up there.

I went to NEO for a year back in 1988-89. I recall spending time out on the country roads around Miami. I can tell you I saw some nice deer. Almost hit one on one particular night and saw several hit on the highway outside of town. There are some good deer there. You start getting up close to the southern corner of Kansas and the deer get good. That runs down into NE Okla.
