Default 50 years for stealing Fajitas?!

I hate a theif as much as the next guy. I understand what he did was a felony by stealing $1 million worth of fajitas over 10 years. But a 50 year sentence for stealing fajitas??? Rapists, murderers, and pedophiles sometimes get less.
Yikes!!

Yeah, Pretty insane sentence.

He wouldn't have gotten 50 years for stealing 1 million from a private individual.

The State Takes care of itself on a little bit different level.

Seems like after every shooting done by a 18-35 year old we see the rap sheet and it's no less than 3 convictions.. But somehow they're out and about shooting people...But it's the guns fault.

Penal code allows enhancements in cases where:

1. Fajitas were tenderized
2. Fajitas were marinated
3. Fajitas were not imported from outside of Texas
4. Fajita theft combined with theft of more than six (6) Dos Equis is punishable by death.

Harsh but it's more about the money, not the fajitas. Obviously very frowned upon for a public servant to steal $1.2 million dollars from the state and tax payers. I would assume the punishment would be the same if the mayor, Police Chief or any other public servant stole that much cash but who knows.

If the State put a price of 1.2M on the fajitas they were probably individually wrapped and intended for distribution. Lol

Why is it not fair???? The guy stole $1.2mil!!!!! I have zero sympathy for this guy!

Whatís not fair is when some scumbag does something more heinous, yet gets off with a lighter sentence!!!!!

I know he didn't get a chin implant with the money.

Idiot deserves it, government (State and Federal) spending is out of control as it is, and this kind of crap doesn't help our pocket books one bit.
