I believe you are correct. I think it's the 600 lbs that are shorter, but not the 1000 lb. They can both be filled while standing on the ground. I like the larger opening on the Lamco. Two people can easily fill the Lamco at the same time. I would also say they are both high quality and well made feeders, and you won't be disappointed with either one.

Lamco. Can buy straight from them at their store in El Campo but pretty sure it's the same price as all their vendors, good people.

I've had a Lamco trough feeder for 6 years now and zero problems. It will wake you up when it slings feed!!

Check out buccees ASF feeder, basically a copy of a lamco for half the price (this its a 600lb feeder).

I have always had All Seasons products but I don’t like 2 things about that feeder. It’s only 600lbs, which is what I have now, and the motor and wires are exposed. I hunt about 8 hours away and want bigger feeders that won’t mess up. I appreciate the tip though. Might get one for my back yard.

Will a 1000lb Lamco fit in a Tundra crewman bed?

I bought a 600# Ranch King from Buck Stop last year. I have had zero problems with it. Easy to fill and the coons can't get in it.

I just put a LAMCO low and throw out about a month ago and like it. I like the no exposed wires and the varmint plates that protect the spinner.

I think it would but you may not be able to close the tailgate.

Lamco is the only feeder I buy now.

                                Yes, turn it upside down.
