How do you square nock end of fletched shaft?

And squaring shaft ends in general. Inserts too. Im ignorant on this.

Ive tried a Montec G5 ASD and the fletchings do not clear to perform the job. My current tactic is light end-of-shaft upon pressure cutting blade side upon cut completion. The AZ EZ fletch leaves enough shaft for the fletchings to clear the metal guard on the Weston saw for squaring...ish?

Hook a brother up. God bless! Thank you!

One of these might work. There is also a guy on Archery Talk that prints them; this might be his design (or it might be him).

Fair enough on the easy answer....except for those that buy arrows already fletched.

      Thanks for the link Rat.

I was running into some factory fletched Beman Centershot arrows not squared and causing some Lumenocks to not illuminate and illuminate sporadically.

Just lay a flat file or sandpaper on a table and rub the end of the arrow on it, sticking straight up.

(I cut off carbon arrows with a triangular file, anyway, working carefully around a few light strokes at a time, then square them up with the file and/or sandpaper.)

I wouldn't want to do more than a few at a time this way, but it works.

The F.A.S.T. ( fletched arrow squaring tool ) allows arcchers to precision square the nock end of their arrows after they have been fletched. This is a grea...
