Don't get me wrong...... he's a healthy ole boy.

The shorter and rounder the ears means an older and fatter head.

The ears are not always a reliable way to judge the size of a bear. The head looks big and blocky and the ears are of to the sides of the head. The shoulders look pretty big on this bear, also. How far off the ground are the chutes of the feeder? If they are 4 ft off the ground, then that is a big bear.
