Unlike staph, there is nothing to drain. Venom kills the tissue and that is why it turns black. They will cut it out at some point, but then it becomes an open wound.

Look at the link I posted on page one. My wife went thru this couple years ago.

Update: today I went back to the Dr. this time I saw the Dr. immediately he said brown recluse. He has me schedule for a general surgeon at 430 to get it cut out

Dag gum that sucks she missed it at first. Took me little over 6 months to get over my Recluse bite.
