Another debatable buck TUCO, well done. In my opinion, this deer has characteristics of a post mature buck but then you look at him again and he doesn't have the droopy ears or the calloused knees that you would expect to see on him. With that being said, I would WHACK him because he just doesn't have enough up top for as old as I think he is.

not as old as i would like him to be, on a big ranch he walks, on a small place with only corn, hes getting shot in jan after he spreads his love!

I say walk. Too much going on to not let him go another year. He's a good deer right now but could absolutely blow up in the next couple years. I think you have to give him a chance to do so.

I'd want to know some history on him. What was he the yr. or two before. Mature but not over old. Plenty of reasons to let him walk but if he's never been much before and 6yrs old? knowing you have a lot better bucks on the ranch...judgement call. As you well know it's not the bucks you remove but the ones you leave that count.
