Okie dokie....we have a bit of a change in the layout this year....with a couple teams not able to make it and Team Kid Food moving into the parking lot. Please take a look at the map that Smart (thank you Jason!) helped me put together and take note of where your team is.

The back side of the parking lot (in red) will be reserved for the teams that have members that may need to leave early, OR those that need handicapped spaces only.

Please notice....NO vehicles will be allowed in the Common Area. We need to keep this area clear for the foot traffic

11 days and counting...looking forward to seeing everyone!

Hmm. Me thinks axis carne and gator could move to the east a little more. According to the grass islands, the common area seems small to me. But, I was wrong once before.

We were too spread out last year..... Too much room.... Gave it a sparse feel even though the group pic showed otherwise. Made hanging out with other teams tough.

Mary decided to close it in a little but not as close as it was in 2012 when we had 600-700 people and were OK. We also lost three teams this year.

Plus I'd rather not have to walk too far to get me some guisada.

Don't forget to get you a meat pie when you get your bowl of axis. I'd hate to see you sulk aboiy not getting one for two years in a row.

Nope! But I may be able to throw one of the balls in your mouth from our spot.

Will we be able to stay hooked up to our pits as we have in the past, as long as we are in our area?
It looks like we may only have one pit this year.

I'm ok with that if it is a necessity and you are not in the common area and within your designated spot.

I'm not trying to be a pain....just trying to keep the Common Area free and teams lined out in their spaces so there is no confusion at set up on Saturday morning.....basically, I want it to be pain free for all

Mary. Can the GOF's set up around the island with a small canopy? We need to be able to jump up, shaking our canes and yell at everyone to "Get off My Lawn".

I bet one would fit between the two trees....but Mary is the boss. I didn't realize GOF would have a central control or I would have asked Mary where to put you.

I figured y'all would be terrorizing all the cooking groups while filling your plates (especially Dessert), running around flirting with all the pretty girls and telling stories about hunting dinosaurs.......
