I cut a little opening into the thicket about 100 yards from where I got the picture. I dumped a bag of corn and set out my covert. Hopefully he shows up.

Already had a few doe find my corn pile.

Looks like your buck is coming in late. I would bet with the time he is coming through, his bedding area is not that close to that location. I guess he could have been chasing doe for long distances and it just took him that long to return to home ground.
Hope you see him in the light. Would make a great LDP.

My .02 but in my experience I wouldn't be cutting or clearing anything in an area you have a deer you're trying to hunt. When I clean stands before the season it normally takes awhile for the deer to get back to normal. Hope it works out for you, great deer
