High lung he died within a minute or two, probably not a great blood trail until the lungs filled up with blood.

Oh yes sir! If what I am seeing is correct, both lungs have holes in them now. I would think he would only go 50 to 100 yards......... No blood or very little without an exit hole, but still dead.
