I hate poison ivy

I’m so allergic to the stuff, Ill probably get it just from reading this post. I usually go and get the steroid pills, prednisone I think is what it is. I try to wash with Tec-Nu, but its usually to late by the time I realize I have it. What’s Zandfel, can you get it over the counter? The prednisone usually starts clearing it up in 24 hrs.

Zanfel is over the counter at cvs or Walgreens. 45 dollars a tube but have no problem paying it as it works

I have seen it. not tried it yet. it got me about 5 years ago REALLY bad. wrists, elbow, around the eyes. crack of. does it burn the eyes if it comes in contact? now most of me gets wiped before any part of me cuts or pulls any weed.

I would get it all the time when I was a kid. Doctor gave me a steroid once when it was really bad, but he even said it doesn't really help. Just needs to run it's course like a cold. All you can do is tend to the symptoms. Hate that stuff.

Funny and true story on how I came across Zanfel. I was cutting pecan wood and some trees had some under growth. I guess I wasnt paying attention too well because I had covered up really well and wasnt to concerned about getting it on my skin. Anyway I guess pulling out my ****** to pee a few times it somehow got poison ivy on it! I went to the pharmacist at HEB in Sugar Land and asked him what was the best stuff for poison ivy(I was trying to save myself the embarrassment of going to the doctor and getting a shot for it), he asks me if price was an issue......I loudly said, "Hell no it's on my ****!" He **** near fell over he was laughing so hard. He then escorted me over to the aisle and said "here this stuff will fix your problem." It was instant relief.

Me either but I fear/dread the day it could change. I can eat it... but my mother can’t be within wind blown distance without breaking out severely
