    Awesome. Thanks Ben.

Just heard from Rod. The hours are 9-5 on Sat, 9-2 on Sunday. He said that he will stick around after 2, but tries to cover everything before then for folks who have a long way home.

Payments are coming in already folks. Don't forget, payment guarantees your spot.

        Wonderful, thanks Glenn.

I don't know how this happens, things just seem to fall out of the sky on me, but I'm now also organizing a bowhunter ed class in Houston. I'll start another thread about that.

Good luck to you on that.

            Here's an update...

Ben has been in communication with Triple Edge Archery in Dayton, who will allow us to use their facility for the clinic! This is great news, and will be a perfect setting. The cost, spread across the class, will be $25 each, bringing the total to $250 per person. When you compare this to some firearms courses, it is still great value, I hope you will agree.

For those who have already paid, we'll figure it out.

            So, to reiterate:

            Rod Jenkins Clinic
            Saturday, April 27th, 9-5
            Sunday, April 28th, 9-2
            At Triple Edge Archery
            6209 South Highway 146
            Dayton, TX 77535

            Cost: $250
PM or email me for payment info.
Bring a lightweight bow. Rod will have some available for use.

Four have paid leaving eight open spaces.

I hear there's a BBQ pit at TEA, so maybe someone will volunteer as chef...

Edited to bring Ben's heart rate down. Sorry my friend!

I'm really hoping that this is a type O on the dates. I booked TEA for April 27TH and 28TH, as mentioned above.

What to expect from a Rod Jenkins clinic...

                      Day 1

                      Welcome greetings and review class.

Seven steps to a shot sequence.

Discussion on the mental approach to archery.

                      Lunch

                      Rod’s demonstrates shot sequence.

" Introduction to the Bale" a review of practice at close range.

Short review of "Gap Shooting" and other aiming methods

Video of each person for next day review.

                      Day 2

Review video shooting for each person

                      Lunch

                      One on one correction.

                      Discussion and question.

                      Bow tuning demonstration.

This will be money well spent, folks. If you are considering this, I recommend signing up sooner rather than later. We will need the 12 spots filled to make the class happen. There are 8 spots left.

Oh, and I'll make and bring pecan pies... pecans from Lynda's yard, baked with love.

I went back in August. It was very helpful.

Having just re-read the first post, I want to clarify. If we are not able to get the 12 spots filled, and have to cancel the class, you will absolutely get your money back! I am not sending in the funds until the spots are filled.

Let's make this happen gang! An opportunity like this does not come along very often.
