We brought dad home today with Hospice. They don't operate like I'd envisioned, and this isn't any less stressful than being in a hospital. It may actually be worse since we're having to keep track of the meds, as well as administer them.

If there is a hell on earth, this has got to be it.

About 4am dad took a turn for the worse, but it's a blessing. He's sleeping now, but his breaths are down to 6 to 8 seconds. He hasn't had any medication since 4am. He's peaceful now.

Prostrate and kidney ... but the one that's taking him is peritoneal tumors that have become very aggressive in the last 3 months.
