Javelina limits

Is there anywhere in the state where the yearly limit is more than 2 javelina per person?

I’m not sure but I really wish they would raise it to 4 or 5 in Texas. I have groups of 20+ that will come in at a time. That’s only one herd, I have 3-4 herds that I know of on camera.

Nope. Besides that you don't want more then 2 anyway. Where you headed to hunt them?

I am headed to South Texas in early April to hunt em is why I ask.

Ain't if strange how people want what they don't have while other people have what they don't want ? I'm that way about hogs, wish they were all gone (mostly anyway), and folks from up north will drive all day to come hunt them for several hundred dollars. I drove a half a day and paid several hundred dollars to hunt javelina. Go figure....

Interesting. I google searched it and the first his was a thread from here in 2007 when javelina mild permits were being considered. I guess it didn't make it

I've never shot more than 2 in a single year but I've always kinda thought TPWD set the limit with a wink wink nudge nudge spirit.

They smell like a skunk. I have killed two in my life and probably wouldn't shoot another unless I wanted to take him to the taxidermist.

Javis are the worst. If the limit was 10 a year it would still be too low
