my dad decided to drive out there since he only has a few opportunities this year. he made it up FM 915. so, the roads are not totally closed.

Mama needed me to get the girls out of the house so we went to do a "pasture check" to see what shape the ranch is in and feed some deer. Crazy running water everywhere but the roads weren't sloppy at all. Leasemate shot a really nice management deer this morning, he had to go get a receiver hitch winch to load this sucker up. Tenderloins encased in fat! No shortage of deer groceries!

Same at our place. Didn't have a single deer show up to the feeders but my 4wd got a workout.

It was soft this weekend but rangers handled it fine. Had a good buddy get his first bow buck( management deer)!

My boy got his second buck with the xbow. Double lung went about 20 yards and fell over. He’s pumped. Fun hunt.

Hunting seems to be improving daily.
