Looks a lot better than the one I made from a hickory sapling and a hay string, but I was 12 years old.

Sam I have taken a lot from your poor folks bows build alongs. Thanks for that.

Thanks for the kind words guys. This is the first bow I have made from my own form design. Itís pretty quick. I did have quite a bit of time getting that riser block to fit in a form that was that aggressive. Especially with the belly running running through the handle. I thought that might be easier. It would have been with a straighter handle design I think.

You get to wear the bowyer hat now...anytime you do or dont want. Very nice Sir.

Very nice! Particularly find that handle intriguing -- looks like you really mean to bear down and murderize something you shoot.

By the way thanks for all the kind words!! Now that I have a legal longbow, I won’t get to shoot it in the state longbow championship!! This crap sucks!! For the record I am only assuming it will be canceled. Haven’t heard one way or the other.

Dang that turned out very nice my friend... I see that you live in Llano, next time I am out that way I'd like to buy you lunch and see your bow in person. Oh, do you know David Griffith? David was my FFA teacher, he lives in Llano now.

Thanks a lot Bisch! As good as you shot this bow it made me glad someone else could shoot it good. Also I got to stand to the side and see how quiet it was and itís speed. Itís pushing an 11 gpp arrow at a pretty good clip! Stuff you canít really see well when your the one shooting. Thanks again!!
