generally available factory ammo,, Winchester tends to be mild, federal more medium power and Remington very hot compared to the other two,,, as far back as I can recall it has been that way,,,

Bumping this up. I just ordered a 12" Encore barrel in 44. Gonna go shopping for factory loads since my loading equipment is boxed up. Anybody using an Encore in 44?

No encore, but I have taken a few deer with a 14" contender. 225 gr leverevolution and before that 240gr Remington JHP.
