Granger and Somerville WMAs

Are these lakes any good for duck hunts?

I hear granger is good. There are a few other ponds close to granger as well on the public hunt book

Somerville is hit or miss. It really depends upon how much water is in the area. Too dry and the Ponds get dry. Too wet and there is water EVERYWHERE.

Huntable spots of Granger are pretty crowded. You may have to be there very early to beat other hunters.

With boat u can hunt almost the whole dang lake and river if u want except by the parks...mostly wood ducks in and near the river and mouth.

Plenty of walk in spots that are not crowded if u are willing to walk a mile or so
