I like Rigid. Been through a half a dozen or so, and they take a beating and keep running. I like a 2" hose for general construction clean up, and as much capacity as is feasible.

Rigid 16 gallon SS I use it in my shop wet or dry , as a blower to blow the harleys off after i have to wash them from services , vac my trucks and cars .

i have had a few and this one has been a work horse as i use it almost every day , machine station chip clean up , you name it .

Avoid the Shop Vac brand. Rigid seems to be the best for the money imo.

Rigid is my vote. Get the one that works best for your usage and storage needs.

Big ones are great, until you have to store them.
