Dang it! My bow blew up

I hadn't shot my bow much since deer season and today I took it off the shelf to get some practice in. Shot like 6 arrows and at full draw BOOM a cable ripped. I'll take it to the bow shop and have them put new strings and cables on it and hope thats all that broke. I can't see any damage on the cams or limbs but I'll have them check it out.

It should be OK. And luckily you are OK.

If he didn't have any before the incident, he probably has them now--

Shop needs to check the cam axles too--but I'm betting the cause is the sissy-color of the strings.

All kidding aside, glad you aren't hurt and hope the bow is 100%

You should make a trip to Lake Fork and see Rocky.

                        How old were your string/cables?

You’ll most likely need a dry fire kit.

I bought the bow used and am not sure how old they were but I think about 3 years.
