    Puncher’s ‘20-‘21 Deer Photography Thread

This year should be a great year for antlers, so I thought I’d start a thread showing some of the deer I find with my Tamron 150-600. If you follow along on Instagram then you’ll probably recognize a lot of what I post. I’ll be sharing deer I cross paths with on our properties in Mason, Callahan, and Stonewall Counties and any others I come across.
I’m still not where I was to be yet as a photographer, so feel free to critique and give any tips and tricks!!

This first deer is a mature (5+ y.o) big framed 6 I crossed paths with at the Mason County ranch on Tuesday. I love big 6’s.

This second deer is a mature high horn 8 that had just rubbed out of velvet here in Callahan County. I’m hoping this deer sticks around for my oldest daughter, but you never know what will happen on small acreage.

My Instagram is kkcoutdoors, and I’m shooting a 70D. I really want to upgrade to a full frame, but man I’d hate to have to buy new lenses too.

Here’s the last picture of the 6 that I’ll share. I’ve got some new photos from the weekend, but haven’t had time to look at them.
