I got in a design mood this week end. The first one on the left feels so good in my hand...The middle one with the Hamon is my model # 118 and the little far right is my caper. I'm getting tired of making the same models over and over again. 20 years of knife making it can become mundane if you don't change things up a bit. 
The two outside are 1084 the one with the Hamon is 1075 is one if my favorites steel, it's like 5160 on steroids. It produces as good great Hamon due to the high content of Manganese.
