The views are incredible. This will be the glass wall (2 fixed and 2 sliding patio doors) and 2 glass triangles above under a vaulted ceiling facing the mountains from the living room.

Construction stopped today- a blizzard came in.

I attended a weekend avalanche rescue course. Bottom line- if the folks you’re with can’t get you out in 20 minutes- it’s between you and your Maker. Search and Rescue becomes a recovery mission.

I’m the grey haired guy surrounded by young muscle. The 2 guys to my left and I are on the same team. Funny how you cross paths with people you know you can depend on- up to your life in the ‘back country’. Way past where the ‘blacktop ends’.

Construction resumed. South-facing sun room off kitchen is framed. We’re excited for early sun, and these hills are crazy with sunset across the valley. Lots of windows!

Yes- it snows in Montana. First significant snow since October.

The Honda Pioneer 500 does snow duty in addition to being my hunting 4x4. Great machine.

They convinced me to climb on the roof and see their work.
