Ill post this in DIY as its pretty dang easy to do.
I used cedar 2x2x8's and Cedar Boards
Stain half dark and half light then lay out on the ground.
Then start making your little angle cuts in whatever spots you think look good.
Then flip over so you can secure them to support 2x2s on the back. (make sure to get the stars on the left side bc I flipped mine over after screwing in a million screws and it was on the wrong side oops)
Then burn the cedar boards. I didn't use butane as it doesn't transfer heat fast enough. You need the yellow bottle (I don't remember the gas)
then google craft wood stars on line and find the ones you want. Mine are 2x2 stars I believe. I found these on Etsy.
Then determine how you want to hang it. I used eye screws and clips on the wall and then two more eye screws and wire on the back of the flag as its heavy and I just wanted to be able to clip onto the wire for ease of installation. Doing this you can also slide it back and forth until its level. Seemed to work out pretty well.
