Hamburger steak, Salisbury steak, tacos, anything really. Just don't tell them it's deer.

Ask and you shall receive. Just increase the bake time to 30 - 35 minutes for full size bell peppers.

And this isn't a traditional stuffed pepper, but it's one of our all time favorite meals. EVER.

We have ours ground with 20% beef fat. Honestly the only difference is the smell when cooking. I have noticed a difference in bow vs gun taste though. Don't know if it's the time of year difference or adrenaline or what.

My youngest is very picky and usually turns her nose up at venison.....unless it's Grandma Maroni's 100 year old meatball recipe! I use the venison/pork Italian sausage we make at home instead of beef and she loves it.

All the above and we make vegetable beef soup but use ground venison.

My wife makes a lasagna with cream cheese instead of ricotta, sounds weird but it's AMAZING.

Use it for everything you use hamburger for but, start out mixing 50/50 hamburger/venison.....they'll never know.

A lot of folks will completely disagree with this but we mix our venison 70/30 with 70/30 ground beef. You can use it for any all recipes that call for ground beef.

I've feed it to people that "hate" venison and they have never know the difference. In fact I give packages to people and they always say that they love it.

I love making meatloaf with it. Also made some stuffed shells recently that came out well. Chili is another good option, and of course jerky is great too!
