Freezer Filler Down!
Well this weekend we hit the lease for the first time since the last weekend of Oct. My wife and I both killed deer during Oct so I wanted another doe for the freezer and this was our last weekend to do it. My wife and son took there bows and I took my bow and .308 since it hasn't barked in over a year. My son had a nice young 8 and nubbin come in on him which both got a pass. I had 3 doe come out around 8:30 this morning and they crossed and never presented a shot. At 10 am this big bodied spike stepped out as I was about to pack up and I let the .308 bark at 135 yrds and he dropped in his tracks. Good freezer filler for sure. I am 6'1" 240 for size reference.
