    First time pig roast

    Had a friend trapped some 50ish pound pigs on Friday. I took 2 pigs and dehaired one of them for roasting. It was a neat experience and will try it again! Of all the animals I've killed and ate these were by far the cleanest animals I've ever cleaned. Anyway, had about 20 people come eat and most of the meat is gone. Everyone enjoyed. Injected with oakridge game changer brine and seasoned with oakridge chili lime rub.

    Looks great! How did you remove the hair?

      Set a 55 gallon drum on my fish cooker and filled about 3/4 full. Heated to 145 and put the pig in for around 6 minutes. I put him on a table and scraped the hair. Hair and first layer of skin came right off. It was much easier than I thought it would be.

                    It was really good. Better than I expected being a wild hog and my first time to clean and cook one. I learned some things and will definitely try another one.
