Is this an 8, 9, or 10 pointer?

I ground checked him in the fog thinking he mightve been a spike. I count nine. Drop tine over right eye. Im wondering if the antler was sickness or infection and letting walk wouldve made a real nice next year. Low fence. First sighting. Biggest body of any Texas WT Ive seen. If appropriate...can provide grounded but alive photos.
