I love it when a plan comes together. I hunt a small farm near our home that is way overpopulated with doe and no one else in 1000 acre area bow hunts. I hit the stand at 6:00 am and had doe all around me by 6:40. By 7:10 I had my first deer of the season on the ground. I couldn't have planned it any better. It is great to get the first hrvest because it really allows me to relax ad enjoyt the hunting form here on out! Now my wife will be happy because we have been out of suasage since July! This weekend I am heading to the lease in the hill country to look for a good buck!
