The gun show loop hole is a catch phrase for the anti movement.
The reality is there are guns sold every day to criminals by ignorant or unaware individuals where back ground checks are never a consideration.
Many are sold through forums such as this.
Many law abiding, good citizens, prefer to purchase guns this way to avoid the paper trail and I do as well at times.
Does it present issues and allow guns into the hands of bad actors? Yes. Do I think another law will change that problem? Nope.
I can't name an Eric Church song off the top of my head but I'm sure I've heard his music. Hopefully he will either get educated and adjust his opinion.
