Younger or older deer?

These pics are from last year...I havent seen this buck again this year....last year at first glance I thought he may have been a younger buck that was gonna be great with time....mainly because he has a slimmer neck in the pics I got...now I wonder if he's an older buck and just needs better nutrition? ....whats yalls assesement?....some of these pics I took were while trying to set up my tripod one day...he heard me making noise and ran right in while I was without my bow....I sat still and snapped some pics....
