Boil it get the rest of the things still on there. Go to a beauty supply and get you some peroxide. Paint the peroxide on it and let it bleach it out. Wash it well after it's bleached out and keep away from your dog; like I didn't. She ate the nose off it.

Boiling wont soften the bones too much?
Funny you say that. It was sitting on the floor in the garage and my dog brought it to my wife in the living room. She was not happy!
Do not boil. Set it in some sort of water and put a fish heater to it. It'll take a while to get the remaining leathery junk off, but it'll happen. When it's all cleaned off, back into water as hot at you can keep it with some dawn dish soap. When you are certain all of the grease/fat has left the skull, then whiten it up. It'll take a while.

Too funny.
You could also put it in a large bucket with some Dove dish soap. Make sure you get the grease cutting kind. Leave it in the solution for about a week till everything is off. If it is still nasty repeat the above process till it is 'clean' then do the peroxide.
put it in a bucket of water for a few weeks. Then you should be able to spray off everything with a water hose. Then put it in a bucket of water and Dawn dish soap for a few weeks to degrease. Might have to do step 2 a couple of time to get all the grease out. you can whiten it a few different ways,: you can get some basic white and volume 40 and make a paste or you can just soak it in peroxide for a few days. The stronger the peroxide the less the soak time.

Lol keep it away from the dog. My dad was boiling a 3 1/3 curl black buck (why he didn't get it mounted I don't know) but as he was letting it cool, my black lab grabbed and it at thee horns off lol
