Sanders and his mandated $15/hr dream again.

Yeah, they got a job, but they got a job that is paying them a wage which is unlivable. That is why we’re gonna raise the minimum wage in this country to at least $15 an hour.
Unless he also plans to cap/eliminate inflation or make increasing the price on anything illegal, the only people benefiting from this "wage increase" are the people with the cash registers.

I recall being in the Army and if we we lucky we could expect at least a yearly 3% COLA (cost of living adjustment). At first we like "great...hoo-ah! a pay raise", until you realized the prices at the PX, commissary, clothing and exchange even hair cuts all went up by...

    you guessed it, 3 %

I guess the average American is to stupid to understand inflation... I however believe there should be no minimum wage. Employers should have the right to pay you what you’re worth.

The guy is a mental midget and he appeals to people that have no idea how the world works, young, senile, stoned, etc...
A weekend at Bernie's would leave you broke. If he had a yard boy show up and he worked 10 hours and old Bern paid him $150 bucks, he would take $75 for taxes, $15 for his use of electricity, $20 for running his water, $35 for carbon emission tax, a $20 parking pass. So now the poor kid owes Bernie more than he made so he has to come back tomorrow to pay the his debt but it starts over and gets further into debt.
I think it was Churchill the said "taxing yourself into prosperity is like standing in a bucket and trying to lift it"...ain't gonna happen.

I dont know why anybody thinks the starting pay for a minimum effort, minimum education, minimum bottom line moving, going to be replaced with a robot, should be $15/hour? If you dont want a minimum wage job, go and get some marketable skills. It really is that simple.

This would cause chaos to the 9th degree.

Imagine the spike in drug use all over the Country? It would be freaking insane. And then we'd have 100x the homeless camps all over...instantly.

Not to mention inflation out the @@@

No kidding...I wish someone would simply ask: Why not $100 an hour or a flat $100k per year min wage just to hear what logic they would apply. Hell, make everyone a millionaire in your dream world.

Those that have worked their way up to 15 aren't going to stand having subordinates making the same $$$. It would immediately cause a huge explosion of unemployment & business closures. Can you imagine what would happen to your current whataburger meal...who's gonna pay $25 or more?? Think of your current HEB bill alone!!

First course of action would be to drop off my lease because I'll see more poachers than deer because half of Starr Co is out of work. I am so glad these clowns have no chance of winning.

                  Don't even know why it's a discussion.

Ole Bern wouldn't even pay his campaign workers $15/hr. Knowing that I won't waste my time reading any articles on his dream of $15/hr min wage.

Exactly! But this is the undercover principle of Democratic Socialism, what’s good for the masses does not apply to the ruling class.

No. It will never his the $15/hr person directly. It will be gradual. Initially they will be elated for the bump in pay. They will all buy new flat screens, $1500 iPhones and new wheels. As the economy inflates, after about 24 months they will start to wonder why they don’t have as much disposable money to spend. Meanwhile their employers are getting hammered on payroll tax, 4% premiums for Medicare for all, plus whatever corporate taxes the Bern comes up with. Suddenly $15/hr guy loses his job, but he doesent understand why he’s worse off, not better off.

And Bernie will swear it's because the rich white capitalist is STILL screwing them! So re-elect him and he will fix them good this time!

Bernie is the best bet for repubs taking control of house and Senate. Half the dems just won't turn out to vote if he is the ticket leader. That means down ticket congressmen don't get the vote either.

Don’t count ol Bernie out. He is flat running away with the nomination. If the democrats screw Bernie out of the nomination, they will lose a crap load of voters. The fact is, the democrats brainwashing that’s been going on for 40 years is now biting them in the azz. The dems have created a monster, and the youngsters are backing that monster due to their brainwashing.
