Dave, your lower may indeed have the word "multi" engraved on it. Ignore that unless it's a factory SBRed lower (they are not common). On Box 4(c) of ATF Form 1 enter a precise caliber. I entered "300" for my .300BLK. You could put that, or 5.56, but look at your barrel first. ATF doesn't seem concerned with the decimal in front of .300.
