Doesn't sound odd to me either. I always let my dad know where I'm at since he knows the area as well. And there's 2 other hunters that know my hunting spots as well. I always make sure people know where I'm at.

I would do the same, except my brother lives in AL, and my Dad is in Afgh at the moment. I tell my wifewhere I am, and give her coords, but she cant come looking at night with my 5 year old, so I figure the best route was to let you guys know. That way at least someone with some familiarity of the land has an idea of it should it come to that. Well gotta wrap this up, time to head out.

My wife knows where i am because she is in her stand about 400 yards away and i really hope she gets one this season

well found me another spot but i didnt realize how far back i was. so im thinking the 2.4 mile walk is gonna have to wait. its to far for me to walk alone imo. so ill just keep to the same spot as always. good luck to all!!!

Get yourself a yak TO. I've seen a few people Doin it this year. Might do it myself cause u can load anywhere. Don't need a ramp. And it works everytime. Still kicking myself in the butt for that one
