I hunt with both climbers and lock ons. I have several different brands of lock ons but I have become really partial to the Millennium lock on. I use it with Muddy brand climbing sticks. Super easy to hang both the steps and the stand.

I use a Grand Ole Man climber for the last 18 years and I love it. Easy to climb, easy to pack etc. I have been very successful with it all over the country.

For those who have tried both, any thoughts?

The whole setup will come in and out of the woods with me on each hunt.

Primary considerations (relative to climber): weight, setup time/difficulty, stand angle adjustability up in the tree (if any)
